The Carp Lake
Built in 2004, the purpose built carp lake is kept well-stocked by the owners' son Dale, himself a keen fisherman. The lake has now matured into a tranquil haven from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
Even if you do not fish yourself, this makes a beautiful setting for dining al-fresco in the adjacent picnic area.
The Grange CL Fishing Rules
Fees £5 per rod per day or part thereof, payable on the day of fishing
(Please call at the office before entering the lake)
Restrictions - The following tackle is not allowed
Barbed hooks, no hooks above hooks size standard 14, braids, bolt rigs, method feeders & keep nets
Bait Bans
No meat baits except luncheon meat, Boulies, nuts,
ground bait 1 kilo limit,
At the end of each fishing session please takeaway any leftover bait - DO NOT THROW UNUSED BAIT IN THE LAKE.
Good Code of Practice
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
- All equipment to be left at owners risk.
- Handle fish with care.
- Only Carp friendly landing nets to be used.
- Please clean up any litter.

due to any violation of the land, lakes or rules
